Washington High School -

The South Dakota School Counselor Association supports the school counseling profession through advocacy, leadership, and collaboration.  Each year, the state of South Dakota recognizes an individual that is not a school counselor but who has made a significant contribution to the school counseling profession.  In addition, this recognition is bestowed upon an individual that directly and positively impacts counselors, students, families, and school programming.  This year, the state of South Dakota, Patti Lake Torbert, and the Washington High School counseling team are proud to present the Special Contributions Award to Angela Wendt.
