The SFSD Office of Indian Education would like to thank St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls for their generous donation of 10 star quilts for graduating Native American Seniors.
St. Mark's Church has been an ongoing partner and supporter of the SFSD Native Honoring Celebration for the last two years. For the second year, in addition to the quilts, they are volunteering at the event and contributing all of the cupcakes for the celebration. Pidamaya (Thank you) to the St. Mark's Congregation for your ongoing support of our Native students and families!
The Honoring Ceremony is Monday, May 13, 2024 at Washington Pavilion beginning at 5:30pm with the Presentation of Flags and Opening Songs.
