There is a correction to the Grand March start time that was listed in the WHS April newsletter. The Grand March will begin at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 20th at the WHS Auditorium.
WHS Senior Prom is scheduled for Saturday, April 20th from 8-11 PM at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Non-WHS Guest forms are due on Friday, April 12! Forms can be found in student services.

WHS will be providing an opportunity for sophomores to take the PreACT on Thursday, April 4th. If you are interested in taking the test, sign up in counseling office by April 3rd. The cost is $20
During the week of March 25-28, Best Buddies will host an Inclusion Week to spread the word about inclusion and celebrate the amazing diversity that is at WHS. We will be hosting these dress-up days: Monday - Warrior Wear Day; Tuesday - PJ Day; Wednesday - Jersey Day; Thursday - Disability Color Day.
Audition forms are now available for the WHS spring production of short plays. Please stop by Mr. Reiner's room, A139, to obtain one. Auditions will be held on the Little Theatre after school on Tuesday, March 26th.
Plans are in the works for SFSD students and staff to bring electronic devices home over the weekend in the event that winter weather presents challenges on Monday. The WHS Theatre Department will present "Night Voice", Thursday, March 21st through Saturday, March 23rd. Showtimes are 7:45 pm on Thursday and 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
The WHS Renaissance Committee will be recognizing students who have attained a 3.5 or above GPA for the past 2 consecutive semesters with our Academic Letter Presentations. We will honor Seniors on Tuesday, March 19th, Juniors on Wednesday, March 20th, and Sophomores on Thursday, March 21st during 2nd period (9:15-10:05 am) in the Commons.

WHS Students - Senior Class Party is collecting food items for Feeding South Dakota as their service project March 11-15. You will find barrels around the building where you can leave your donations.
Looking for a summer job? WHS is hosting a summer job fair on Tuesday, March 12th from 3:00-4:00pm in the commons. Please stop by and visit with potential employers. There is a list of businesses that will be attending hanging in the window in the counseling office.

The Renaissance Committee will be recognizing Honor Roll Recipients on Wednesday and Thursday during Warrior Halftime with ice cream sundaes. Students who received a 3.0 or above for their first semester qualify for Honor Roll. Certificates will be passed out in your first period class.
Tuesday, Feb 20 is a NO SCHOOL day, so be sure to stop by Oscar Howe Elementary for the second Community Health & Wellness fair, put on by the Community Learning Centers! There are lots of activities for kids, tons of community vendors, and amazing prizes for all!
